for Partners
The partnership approach to program development and design will
assist Thinkers in Residence to build a rich program with high
impact and long-term benefits. One or more partners will be asked
to consider provision of matching funding for the direct costs
of appointing a Thinker.
Partners will derive direct benefit from the visit of the Thinker.
Thinkers may present at a partner's conference, assist the partner
organisation in development of organisation strategy, or lead
a project proposed by the partner organisation. The level of benefit
will be commensurate with the contribution provided.
Benefits can include:
- local/national exposure
- international exposure
- communicating a specific message
- recognition on Thinkers' website and event collateral
- invitation to VIP reception(s)
- preferential ticketing for 'Thinker' events within the agreed
program
- ability to use the 'Thinkers' logo for mutually agreed purposes
- access to the Thinker for mutually agreed corporate activities
Government, education, cultural and research organisations who
are not partners will also have opportunities to be involved:
- as hosts - organisations which would host an individual
Thinker during their stay, including meet and greet, social
opportunities, program development, itinerary development, office
accommodation, research assistance, access to collections and
networks, provision of a suitable working environment, etc
- as presenters of specific program elements - organisations
which would partner Thinkers in Residence in specific programs
of activity, for example the presentation of a seminar or the
implementation of 'satellite' projects
